What is wrong with this Government?

Where to begin ?
Anyone who sublet their property is not " responsible for killing Gary. Instead the unholy combination of totally inappropriate cladding and lack of oversight and accountability is what is ultimately responsible.

Well let's begin with this.
Fact.
The properties sublet will have housed more than on the councils register.
The tenants are complaining that the death toll doesn't reflect what they knew to be true.

It was against the Criminal Law and tenancy agreement to sublet.

More People are dead, than on the council housing database, because somebody broke that law, they were in the wrong place at he wrong time and probably under the assumption that they were safe.

But somebody was making a profit from it, Criminal Social Tenants living either in that building elsewhere.

The cladding was a definate accelerator of the fire and they had no chance, no chance of fire escape training, no chance of going through right to rent and no equipment to safeguard against the spread as loads of inconvenient, slow closing fire doors had been removed by somebody.

Tax fraud, money laundering, unauthorised immigrants?
Whatever else has just been given an Amnesty?

But right this very minute others are doing the same crime of subletting, in similar buildings across the country.

Will they get an Amnesty?

In a HMO in Flintshire this afternoon, I have caught a tenant subletting his room to a Slovak couple with a baby, he is living with his girlfriend in Wrexham and claiming LHA benefit!

No right to rent check, no smoke alarm testing log book, no gas safety certificate, no how to rent booklet, my license at risk, my insurance invalidated, my house now overcrowded and my tenant issued with a section 8, Section 21 notice and an invoice for my time.

Do you think Rent Smart Wales would offer me any sympathy?

I only got my licence last Friday, I passed their test last year!

It's about time subletting was outlawed in the PRS as well.

We're their is real poverty manufactured, by conservative neoliberal policies, they make the majority poorer, black markets prosper because it's a basic instead to survive, & put food on the table and provide a roof over Ones family. When inequality and wealth distribution is stopped from bubbling up to the top ( their is no trickle down economy it's a myth, they Hoover the profits up hence profit over people, like saving £2 per sheet on cladding ) a fairer society and more egalitarian citizenship will replaclce the dog eat dog , rugged individualism. Pull your own boot straps up and all that bollocks they purport is successful will end....if you measure success by money what do you expect... we need a real demos not a totalitarian government, like we have....a real society with public run NHS, rail, banks....

My objection was to an Amnesty for Criminal behaviour, not to engage in a left or right wing idealistic debate about egalitarianism.

They are only calling an amnesty as a ruse to weed out the illegal subletters and illegal immigrates, staying there so they can deport then. And strike them off...Remember there callous....

I'm not talking about Blairs labour they were conservatives in red...real labour like Tony Benn and Jeremy Corbyn vote labour....

So if your a Corbyn supporting council or supporter of communism or Marxism it's okay to defraud and kill, but if someone ever supported Blair, voted Tory or ever believed in self reliance it's always their fault, no matter the circumstances?

Family Socialism?

The reason Theresa May is in so much trouble at the moment is because she asked families to consider discussing cashing in their main future asset to pay for a family relative that might be in need of future social care. (Family Socialism)?

Or in other words choosing between a state subsidised full inheritance or moving over to a reduced inheritance and the state waiting until death of a parent before asking for its money back.

The resulting noise was not for socialism, it was because it scared the people who owned the property half to death and the people waiting for their parents to 'croak it', into writing to the local Tory party chairman, demanding her public execution.

If Corbyn ever gets in, this country can indeed indulge itself in socialism, until the cows come home, (about a week), but his utopian vision won't work longer than 3 years, before we as a country run out of money, get rising unemployment, rip roaring inflation,eye watering interest rates and nobody to borrow from.

The whole point of our lives is to make the best of them, by making choices.
To make the right choices requires education and mentoring, it doesn't make it right or wrong to want to achieve more than someone else.

What makes it wrong is if, to make an achievement, you injure, hurt or steal someone's life or chances.

Such as subletting in Grenfell Towers.
