anyone investing in residential property has got to expect now and then to suffer losses. A major part of the problem is that the County Court system is woefully under resourced. We were granted a possession order by the County Court six weeks ago but the order has not been sent out and on complaint to the court the staff said we are obliged to send the order within 70 days. (Ten weeks to type in name and address and a few brief details!!) This is an area, the Civil Justince System which requires immediate attention and resource. These would be reasonable good public sector jobs, in the Court system and the cause of immense hardship to those seeking justice that the orders they need are delayed. As the great jurist Dyson once said "Justice delayed is justice denied"

Took me 9 months from S8 to eviction. I think I was quite lucky with the court backlog!
