Subletting fee changes since 2014?

I’ve been looking through the forum discussions this morning, but haven’t found anything (yet perhaps) relating to freeholder demands for sub-letting fees over the last year or two. I wondered if there have been any changes since 2014?fee

I want to challenge SIMARC’s bill of £120 to allow me to sublet my property. They are now sending me letters demanding payment otherwise I will be in breach of my lease.

I’m new to this, but am pretty sure £120 is way over what I would expect to pay. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Kindest regards to you all.

Nicola.

Thanks Gary I will contact you through SCN Lettings. The development is in the West Midlands so Paul's recommendation to use Prime Management is probably somewhat out of their area.
The three blocks are physically separate from the others across the road, with communal gardens separate as well but shared as they run round all three blocks. However I can't see why this would be a problem as the gardens are self contained from the others across the road. I'm quite interested in arranging an RTM here and thanks for all your comments.

Dylan as you can see I am in the West Midlands so the people I have in mind may well be able to assist. Look forward to hearing from you. Regards Gary.
