If you visited the Bristol Landlord Expo yesterday you will have noticed that a new organisation “Association of Local Landlords (Wessex) Ltd” (or ALL Wessex) was advertising it’s presence. local

Formerly called NLA Wessex, an independent organisation, that worked in association with the NLA. ALL Wessex has been formed so that we can focus on represent local landlords in the Bristol, Bath, NE Somerset and S Gloucestershire areas without the controls / restrictions that may have otherwise been imposed by the NLA.

ALL Wessex accept that national landlord organisations are essential if landlords are to be represent nationally within central Government, however, with devolution and the empowerment of local Government, local landlords must now be strong locally

Local landlords are best placed to fulfill this requirement, it is the only way to develop the relationship necessary to ensure mutual respect and influence. ALL Wessex maintains it’s not for profit status and relies on the support of local sponsors to help fund it’s operation. There is no member fee.

ALL Wessex has a new website “www.allwessex.co.uk” where local landlords can find out more information and register as a member. As well as representing local landlords with the Local Authorities, ALL Wessex also arranges six meetings during the year – three in Bath and three in Bristol (more details and dates on their website). We want to be a strong voice for local landlords so if you live or have properties in these regions please go to our website and register as a member – thanks.
