General Election 8th June – Who on earth do landlords vote for?

We are asking all landlords to complete this Poll.

Oops! We could not locate your form.

We are also extremely interested in your views so please post comments.

For example, you may well despise what the Conservative Government has done and you may well mistrust them but will any other party be better?

If landlords vote for minor parties might this hand a win to Labour?

Do you think a coalition Government is likely, and if so between which parties?

Which party would you least prefer to be elected and why?

Could not voting hand this election to Labour?

Hopefully they'll find no-one stupid enough to cooperate.

I really wanted to go to tech college and do electronic engineering but my maths wasn't good enough (just a A in O level, no A level). So I went to University instead to do something that didn't involve maths. Everyone on a low to medium income got a grant and only the rich paid for any further of higher education. It was still possible to fail and people I know that did still went elsewhere and got on in life if they wanted to. I don't think paying for it makes any difference. I've paid for all my professional qualifications since, but I don't value them any higher. I value the ones I found hard more, but it has nothing to do with cost.
"Your parents would have told you that your efforts were special and just to get a grant was an achievement in itself." No, my parents told me I was stupid as I didn't get a top scholarship - EVERYONE on a lower income got a grant for all FE and HE - there were no fees except for living costs for the rich.

I feel that students shouldn't be working in term-time; they should be studying - especially if the are going to be state-funded. Yes, a job in the holidays, but not in term-time. They might get better grades and not take low end bar jobs etc from the real unemployed. It should be harder to get the required grades to get to university and only a small percentage of the cohort should go.

I wonder If May WANTS to lose the election. After all, whoever negotiates BREXIT will be unelectable for the next 20 years when it goes badly.

Just put the cross in the faux Tory box - unfortunately no other responsible option even though they have cost us a fortune with s24. My son asked me what I would do if Corbyn got in - I said my first reaction would be to cry ! Then I would have to decide whether to sell up and/or move abroad. Residential lettings is damn hard work on a number of levels but very satisfying most of the time however I'm not doing it for free ! The money/brains/jobs/opportunities/investment that would flood out of the country along with us if the 'money on trees' brigade got in would devastate the country for decades when combined with a botched up Brexit. Then the future generations would really have something to moan about.

Correction: "The money/brains/jobs/opportunities/investment that would flood out of the country along with us" should be "The money/brains/jobs/opportunities/investment that ARE flooding out of the country along with us because of Brexit". Compared with that disaster everything else is minor.

Sorry Luk I just don't see it that way at all. I must have missed all the economic data supporting your very early conclusions on Brexit. I assume you will be voting Lib Dem as you are not happy with the previous democratic response of the electorate ?
