It is worth spending a bit now to save a lot later!

Grill pan: Place a layer of foil in the pan so it covers the top edges. This will catch all grease and fat. Replace after each use.

Grills: Once every couple of weeks, soak these overnight in biological washing powder, they will come up as new! Do the same with the gas hob bits.

Shower: After each shower, use a shower descale spray on the shower screen and shower head and ventilate the room to avoid mould.

Toilet: Pop a bloo in the cistern and replace when necessary.

Sofas: Cover these in some throws of your choice, they will look nice and help keep the sofa in good condition and prevent staining.

Carpets: Vacuum regularly to stop ingrained dirt building up in the pile.

If you spill something then treat immediately to avoid staining.
