Cleared the diary for 10/6. It is prince Philip,Duke of Edinburgh's birthday. Sure this date is ok?
My thoughts whilst GO is down especially this week he has taken a lot of batterings, may be some of us can arrange more media awareness by going on LBC radio If a good speaker some one from here who can explain by giving examples of what the tax position will be and how the tenants are going to end up paying higher rents, etc would be useful. I can chase the presenters into giving us a few minutes providing I have a name who to nominate to speak on our behalf.

Hi. I forgot to mention I think it was on Tuesday the 22nd there was a discussion on Finance act Clause 24 on LBC -presenter was JAMES O'Brian. May be if we ALL email him and say let us give you the accurate information regarding the topic that was discussed. He seems a fair guy.

This is his site http://www.lbc.co.uk/email-james-obrien-3427 This is one of the ways to get in touch to open up the debate. On his site following is written. From what I understand from below he is after a good stories so why not ours- "Tenant tax"

Below copied and pasted from his site
We might get exercised about something serious that is dominating the news headlines or get hysterical about something silly that isn't. No rules, no running order and certainly no scripts, callers are as likely to prompt the next conversation as I am and I'd rather listen to one really good personal story than a million strident opinions.

You can call on 0345 60 60 973, send a text to 84850 (Texts cost standard network charge) or e-mail me below

As always, and on behalf of presumably many private LLs, many thanks for all your efforts and taking the initiative on the JR, Steve & Chris.

Like most of us I'm sure, I've spoken to many people from all walks of life over the past 9 months about this. Without the need for any influence on my part, not a single one of those believe that C24 was in any way fair, logical or would actually achieve what the Osborne & Gauke rhetoric suggested it would. In fact the only 3 groups that appear to truly believe that C24 was in any way rational/logical are those who are unable or choose not to understand it. They are the political elite, their sponsors, and of course a handful of very manipulative, deluded and mathematically challenged HPCers (who monitor this forum intensively and are also very active using various pseudonyms on other web media channels).

Yet, and sorry to say this, but a fair amount of the people I've interacted with, whilst none of them believe C24 is a plausible attack, they are also quite sceptical about getting a 'fair hearing from an impartial judge' should HMG accept the JR challenge.

I hope they are wrong about that and justice and common sense prevails.

If this idiot goes then we have more chance of someone else coming in who will reverse C24. GO is having to reverse so many decisions that he will be likely to hang onto C24 until it has caused havoc throughout the PRS and wider economy; someone else might see sense sooner. Get Osborne out!

Bring on the revolution!

Latest from George the butt head.

Buy-to-let landlords should face new affordability tests, Bank says

You know I am amazed at the passive nature of my fellow countrymen. It is unbelievable to me that we once had an empire and won stuff and were revered and respected around the world.

We hanged Saddam for nothing and and allow George Osborne to interfere in everything we do! Where has our national spine gone?

George Osborne is currently pissing off
Teachers, Students, Doctors and Patients, Landlords and Tenants Bankers and foreign leaders, colleagues and party members, Pensioners and anyone with an investment, Disabled people and tax payers, anyone who needs working credit and anyone employs people and now has to pay the living wage and anyone who voted out of SERPS to name but a few.

Is there anyone left for him to piss of because it seems to me he is infallible and nothing and no one will stop him!

Now he wants the banks to interfere in the BTL market. Now excuse me if my memory is fuzzy, but are they the ones who messed up the mortgage market last time?

Nobody seems to be bothered - Ros's petition only has 45 signatures which is ridiculous when GO is raping everyone!!!

Please sign it and get it out there in anyway you can - social media just doesn't seem to be doing anything for us! I thought these things were meant to go viral - wish I knew how it all worked...... I think group funding to place ads in the tabloids would aid our cause.

I am up for marching against him and his buddies!
