Hi NWL,
I too have stopped receiving email notifications. I assumed they were going to my 'junk mail' folder but that's not the case.
I have checked my Junk senders list and this address is not included.
In addition, I've put the @property118.com domain on my safe senders list. All this to no avail. I now just simply check regularly for updates.

Hi all. Congratulations on launching an appeal. Lincoxs assessment of success leaves me both with an element of hope and at the same time fear. My main worry is the he has picked on the discrimatory aspect of clause 24. I'm a small portfolio holder in the north west and fear that any focus on EU law will potentially result in this ludicrous tax being applied to limited companies as well. Any one else here fear the same?

This would level the playing field and with regard to Limited companies I consider that this not what the government wants.

Let's hope so David. Happy new year. As the new year is about to start.....I ponder what new mad cap policy the government has in line for us.

Looking at the Crowdjustice page and seeing there is nearly £45,000 and 660 backers, we have to remember what an achievement this is in such a short space of time. Well done to Chris and Steve for getting on with this and well done to everyone who has had a role in publicising it to get the money in.

I think Gareth Wilson deserves a special mention for sending out stacks of emails to everyone.

We may hit the £50,000 today or tomorrow - I don't think that matters.

We are showing that we have the means to take the Government on. No just accepting everything they throw at us and expect the RLA or NLA to deal with it. I believe this is a turning point.

Gareth has mentioned a quote from Tory donor Alexander Temerko:

“George Osborne may be personally a good man, but he is and cannot be leader of the party or drive the country to the next generation, because he is immature and very unprofessional. We have a number of good MPs and good politicians who demonstrate good business sense but unfortunately George surrounds himself with cronies.”

And this leads him to make illogical, unjust and hopefully politically suicidal decisions which will have to be swiftly reversed.

I emailed McDonagh MP, yesterday, with most of the text from the rens sky rocket article. Not expecting any reply, other than the ackno I have had, "as I'm not in her patch" but if she spouts her mouth off in an area she is ignorant of, why not, I ask?

She trots off the £6Bn to be raised, just how many LLs are affected by how much to raise that sum? Blood out if stones?

That was a superb article Ros!

Hi Ros,

Thank you very much for the great shout-out. Your work concerning Clause 24 has of course been second to none, and frankly we wouldn't be where we are now without it.

Your own letters and articles have magnetised the campaign and brought many innovative and resourceful individuals to Property118.

More to come, this time from Cameron.

David Cameron says 2016 will be a "game-changer" for the UK, pledging reforms to home ownership and a crackdown on extremism.

I wonder if people think that making a donation might make them visible?

It is probably worth emphasising that all donations are anonymous. Neither Steve, nor I, are able to discover who has donated. Any communication with donors, e.g. email updates, is made by Crowd Justice, who have a legal duty, under the Data Protection Act, to keep the information secure.

Regards, Chris.
