Hi MM. The reason I ask about the content of your letter/email to Mark Carney is because his reply is word for word identical to the reply I received only yesterday afternoon which therefore begs the question over authenticity of concern & indicates we are just being appeased.

Level playing field? Interesting choice of words JC. Sure you're not a secret Gideon mole?

I thought it was but having gone back over quite a few pages, I eventually gave up as I couldn't find it. Can you recall the date you posted this so I can more easily find it?

Mark, I agree that Jobathan is genuine as you can get.

However, I wonder if "Worried about Budget" is landlord or he himself is a mole?

Money Manager, I'm impressed that:

(a) you should get a reply and
(b) that it was specifically addressing the points you raised rather than being of standard format.

He has dodged the taxation aspect-placing that responsibility squarely on the Chancellor's shoulders but I believe they are probably both acting in collusion behind the scenes since the Chancellor's proposed changes will affect the housing market and more importantly the credit market. This latter effect will be of particular interest to Mr Carney!
