I think he could easily remove tax relief for loans on residential properties in limited companies. I also do not think it would affect the large corporate companies as they could raise money from shareholders or investment companies.

My understanding is not if the company is an investment & not a trading company but you should seek legal advice in this regard.

Rather than play about with interest, I'd imagine they'd just extend the Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings (ATED - I'm not going to pretend to be totally informed on this!). Currently it seems intended to deal with valuable homes (individually over a million) being held by a company for tax reasons but it could easily be extended to cover pretty much anything.

Yes I have been doing that, as assume you and other LLs who have been put in this position (effective 2017 onwards) are doing also.
