LPA receiver CHL Mortgages Urgent after they returned payments!

Does anyone have any dealings with CHL. Ive just received a 7 day before letter notice. they won’t enter into an arrangement with me to pay arrears. They said I have to pay back £10000 (just under) within 7 days.help

The arrears have come about as they paid back to my to wife accounts 4 months worth of payments stating they do not take payments from 3rd parties even though we have been paying via a ltd company prior to this for 2 years.

The money hasn’t come back in and they refuse to provide me with either a) a breakdown of the arrears as they stand and b) confirmation or proof that the payments have indeed actually been returned to my wife account – they have just said we’ve paid them back and we consider this matter closed.

I have 3 more days to sort this out and am at my wits end as they will not listen to any reason. Their case is ridiculous but they won’t listen to reason.

Help!

Adrian

Is there a problem with your wife, if not get her to go on internet banking and see if the money was refunded. If it was she can transfer it to your account and you can pay what's due

If she can't do this she can go to the bank who will go through recent statements. Again if it was credited she can ash the bank assistant to transfer it to your acc.

Is there more to this? Why is your wife paying and them not accepting it. If it was returned to her why does she not give it back to you so you can give it to CHL.

Did the cause 10k arrears because the refunded the payments to your wife? Needs more information on how, why, and what's happened.

It would seem unless you recover the money and give it to CHL, 3 days does not even allow time for a legal process.

Is this a buy to let property? Like the previous comment, I don't understand why you can't trace the funds returned to your wife's account and why the funds can't be transferred to you to pay the arrears? Have LPA receivers been appointed?
