Poole is the latest City to see the erection of a Section 24 campaign billboard.

It is located just off Old Wareham Road, Poole BH12 4QS and traffic data shows that 928,000 motorists will pass it every month.

A second billboard will appear in Poole any day now. That one will be located at 182 Herbert Road, Poole BH12 4HU. Traffic data figures are 685,687 a month.

These are two of 10 additional campaign billboards to be erected following a Just Giving fundraising campaign started by Property118 Managing Director Neil Patterson just over a week ago.

The campaign was inspired by David Heard, a landlord based in Portsmouth, who was so frustrated that his MP was “stone-walling” him that he decided to dedicate his own billboard to attract her attention.

The Just Giving campaign is ongoing and we would like to see more of these billboards in many other towns and cities. Please see the link below for further details of the campaign.

"search the internet for section24.info" does not yield correct result (on Bing)

Needs to say "Visit http://www.section24.info"

But even then, the page appears to be aimed at landlords, not tenants.

I think the billboard is a great idea and thanks for the effort put in. However it is not a branding advert but an information advert therefore i think sites need to be in areas where there is likely to be queueing traffic in rush hour or close to a bus stop etc. People will typically need 30 seconds to read the information so it is not ideal for constant flow traffic areas in my opinion.

Landlords broadly as a species vote Conservative or do not vote. The conservative party has a view that in respect of s24 they can like it or lump it.
The people heavily affected by this legislation are tenants. Many have had their rents put up or have been evicted. They are peeved about this and will vote Labour.
The bedford ward in Wandsworth a is high in HMO’s and has just gone over to Labour. This ward is part of Wandsworth which has been conservative for many years. A change in a single ward here is big news.
The HMO tenants seem to be students and singles and many have joined the Labour party because their predicament is seen as a symptom of intergenerational unfairness. These seven bedroomed properties are not suitable for first time buyers at all. They will be bought by lawyers or bankers because of their proximity to central London and the population density will go down.
Intergenerational Unfairness will see Corbyn into number 10 but it will gather steam our of Osbornes folly.
Make sure that your MP realises that turkeys have and do vote for Xmas!

I have put my rents up in response to the Osborne landlord tax and will do so each year until the policy has taken full effect. I have written to every one of my tenants and explained exactly what is happening and they are all very understanding. I have also told them to spread the word of the Tory war on landlords and tenants. I have always been a Tory voter. I am currently politically homeless but if i need to vote Labour to get Osborne and his cronies out then i will.
